Miss Xanthe discovered her love for the guitar at age nine and since then, she has enjoyed playing across a range of contemporary styles including pop, rock, jazz, blues and Brazilian choro music. Throughout her schooling journey, she enjoyed being part of the junior and senior rock bands, stage band and senior choir.
In 2019, Xanthe moved to Melbourne to complete her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Melbourne and graduated in 2021 with a major in performance (contemporary guitar) and a minor in psychology.
No living in Brisbane, Xanthe is currently an Honours student at the University of Melbourne, pursuing her passion for music psychology research. Xanthe aspires to conduct research in this area and make an impact by discovering more about how we can use music to enhance our health and wellbeing.
In her spare time, Miss Xanthe enjoys going to music gigs, making coffee, baking treats with yeast, travelling, exploring new places and enjoying the sunshine.
