Registered Music Therapist

Katja is a Registered Music Therapist and has experience working in dementia care, disability, and mental health.

Katja graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Masters of Music Therapy in 2019, and prior to that attained a bachelor of music from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University in 2017.

She has been involved in various projects including establishing a volunteer performers program at the PA hospital in partnership with the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.

Katja has a passion for using music to support wellbeing, as well as highlight and celebrate the uniqueness of every person she meets.

In her spare time Katja enjoys cooking, sewing, and reading with her cat.
