Sophie-Louise Mathieson

Miss Sophie-Louise has been playing guitar for as long as she can remember! Gifted her first guitar when she was just six years old, she has since become a passionate guitar musician as well as pianist and singer.

Throughout high school she captained her high school ‘rock school’ team, performing in many battles of the bands and various performances as well as being Music Captain in year 12.

Sophie-Louise is currently studying a bachelors of Education (secondary) and a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Music at the University of Queensland with the hopes of perusing her dream as an advocate for non-traditional music styles within high school and tertiary education.

She is passionate about the individuality of children and all the opportunities music can provide outside of learning a new musical skill.
