NDIS Commission confirms certification
We are very excited to announce that we have received confirmation from the NDIS Commission that Music Beat Australia has been approved to be an NDIS fully certified and registered provider.
This confirmation follows an extensive certification audit process we undertook in 2020 with an independent approved quality auditor.
The auditor assessed our business against the components of the NDIS Practice Standards that are relevant to the services and supports we deliver. A Certification Audit is the most stringent an NDIS provider can undergo, covering the full range of our services, including our risk management as well as the delivery environment and our governance and operational management.
Our certification by the NDIS Commission is a great outcome and reflects our commitment to achieving the requirements of the NDIS Practice Standards and to providing our clients with the very best of services.
NDIS registered providers must meet “strict government quality and safety measures” and can provide services to clients that self-manage, or have agency-managed funding (NDIA).
With our certification level, anyone can access music therapy through Music Beat Therapy Services, without any restrictions on age or how your funding is managed. This equitable access for all is fulfilling Music Beat’s ethos of being able to provide music to everyone.
Our certification ensures that Music Beat Therapy Services continues to provide consistently high-quality, best practice, and safe services to our clients.
As service access evolves, client needs change, and research informing music therapy practices improves – everyone at Music Beat Therapy Services feels that it is essential that our practice reflects that.
Being certified and registered with NDIS ensures continuous improvement and development.
