At Music Beat Australia, we believe that you are your child’s most important teacher and we aim to support you in this very important role. We provide the structure and expertise to allow you to be the expert musical parent.
This is why all our music is played live and voice led, and we sing as a group to help build your repertoire and confidence.
We sing. We dance. We play instruments. We nurture relationships and provide age appropriate multi-modal stimulation.
All music is played live and is voice led. This is because research supports the use of live voice-led music when working with children under five years of age. It also allows your child to be the focus of the session, we can adapt in the moment to follow their lead. This way, you child will direct the learning that they experience.
You will come away with the knowledge and understanding of how music supports development and with practical hands-on ideas for using music at home to stimulate, calm and interact with your child.
Our Term Three music classes run until Friday 16 September (exc public holidays) and you can join us anytime and only pay for the remaining weeks.
We are currently running music classes at Bulimba, Holland Park and Nundah.

Our use of live music means your child can participate in their own way and at their own level and we can adapt in the moment to follow their lead. This means your child can participate in their own way; be they shy or outgoing, whether they use words well or are not yet speaking, or if they are walking or not yet up and about.
You are the expert when it comes to your child. We provide the structure and expertise to allow you to be the expert musical parent. We support you to participate in the music sessions with your child through singing, moving to music, playing instruments and in improvised musical play.
