Description
Cabasa
The cabasa is originally an African instrument that is constructed with loops of steel ball chain wrapped around a wide cylinder. The cylinder is fixed to a long, narrow wooden handle.
This instrument is excellent in music therapy contexts as it is easy to play with minimal hand dexterity or bi-lateral control. It allows children and adults of all ability levels and ages to participate in making live music.
Please note this instrument is not a toy and needs to be used under adult supervision.
