Miss Penny has over 12 years experience of working with children of all ages and thoroughly enjoys interacting and engaging with children and their families.
When Penny is not leading one of our Kids Music Beat groups she handles all the trial bookings, timetable scheduling and behind the scenes running of Music Beat. She is always on hand to help our Boppin’ parents with and questions they might have and to pass on feedback on how things are going.
Before joining Music Beat Australia she was a part-time music teacher at the Indigenous and Islander Independent Community School in Acacia Ridge teaching preps-Grade 7. Penny been involved in creative arts for the last decade singing, song writing, performing, emceeing and teaching.
She gained a certificate in Performing Arts majoring in Vocals from Excel School of Performing Arts in Auckland in 20024. She then went on to study and graduate from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Music majoring in Popular Music in 2009.
Her other interests (besides boppin’ with KMB families) are church, live music, movies and reading lots and lots of books!
